After completing the Diploma course, Vipin started working as a news anchor with ETV – MP in October 2003. While he played the role of a news anchor, he also carried out the responsibility of covering live news bulletins. As he started gaining experience, he was selected as a special correspondent for covering Kumbha Mela (Simhasth) in 2004. Besides, Vipin was also responsible for covering the Lok Sabha Elections in 2004. In those instances, this election was held in one of the regions in Madhya Pradesh.
Soon after completing more than a year with ETV, Vipin started working as an Assistant Producer with Star News in March 2005. While he carried out his role pretty well, he wrote stories in addition to news reads and made bulletins along with special shows. Furthermore, Vipin also got selected as a news anchor for a bulletin throughout the day.
When Vipin quit Star News in October 2006, he later joined CNBC Awaaz as an anchor and an associate producer.
