Ajay Devgn is an Indian actor, film director, and producer. He is 57 years old and was born on 2 April 1969 in New Delhi, India.

He mainly works in Hindi films and has been active in the film industry since 1991. 

He made his screen debut in the Hindi film Phool Aur Kaante (1991). Over the years, he has worked in more than 100 films and has also produced and directed projects under his name. 

Ajay Devgn has won honours at major Indian award shows. He has won four National Film Awards and four Filmfare Awards. 

He also received national recognition in 2016, when the Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri.

Ajay Devgn was born in New Delhi, India. He grew up in a Punjabi Hindu family heavily involved in the Hindi film industry. 

Growing up on film sets, he was immersed in cinema from a young age. Before entering acting, he was an avid martial artist and earned a black belt, which heavily influenced his early action-star persona.

He completed his high school education at Silver Beach High School in Juhu, Mumbai, after his family relocated from Delhi.

Ajay Devgn started his film career in 1991 with Phool Aur Kaante as his debut film. The movie also starred Madhoo, Aruna Irani, Jagdeep, and Amrish Puri.

In 1992, he appeared in Jigar. In 1993, he worked in several films such as Divya Shakti, Platform, Sangraam, Shaktiman, Dil Hai Betaab, Ek Hi Raasta, Bedardi, and Dhanwaan.
