• 1993 (Arrest in connection with Mumbai serial blasts): Reports say Sanjay was arrested by the Mumbai Crime Branch at the airport upon his return from Mauritius, on charges of possessing an AK-56 rifle, a 9mm pistol, and ammunition allegedly linked to the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts.
