Bipasha Basu Early Life and Education

Bipasha Basu was born into a Bengali family in New Delhi. She spent her early childhood in Delhi.

She lived in Pamposh Enclave, Nehru Place, until the age of 8.

Bipasha Basu Career

Bipasha Basu started her career as a model in the 1990s. In 1996, she was noticed in Kolkata by model Mehr Jesia Rampal, who advised her to try modelling.

In the same year, Bipasha won the Godrej Cinthol Supermodel Contest and later represented India at an international Ford Models contest in Miami. This gave her early fame in fashion and helped her get film offers.
