1976: Started at Global Television Network
Anne began her broadcasting career at Global TV in 1976. She worked in the newsroom for about two years and gained early experience in live television reporting.
1978: Joined Citytv’s CityPulse
In 1978, Anne moved to Citytv and joined the station’s CityPulse newscast in Toronto.
She handled writing, producing, and reporting daily stories, along with mini-documentaries.
She also served as anchor of CityPulse Tonight, the late evening newscast, and was a co-anchor on Citytv’s first weekend news broadcast.

On June 1, 2010, Anne joined Global Toronto as co-anchor of the 6 p.m. Global News Hour alongside Leslie Roberts. The pairing brought together two well-known Toronto news veterans.
On August 13, 2013, Leslie Roberts announced on air that Anne would not be returning to the anchor desk after her vacation. He wished her the best in her future endeavours.
Acting and on-screen appearances
