Aadit Palicha dropped out of his Computer Engineering course at Stanford University to start his own startup.
Aadit Palicha is a young CEO whose startup has become very successful, with a valuation of over 900 million dollars in 2022, just a year after its founding. Palicha was born in Mumbai in 2001.
He began his entrepreneurial journey at the age of 17 by founding a startup called GoPool. He also created an AI-based project called PryvaSee.
He left his computer engineering course at US Stanford midway to start his successful startup.
Zepto is a company that started in April 2021 and delivers grocery products within 10 minutes. Within a month of its launch, the company gained a valuation of 200 million dollars and became a massive success.

Other companies are trying to copy Zepto’s model. Zepto may soon become a Unicorn startup. They are testing other services such as delivering tea and coffee and plan to expand into other sectors.
His co-founder, Kaivalya Vohra, was his classmate at Stanford. He also left the university to start a startup with him. Zepto’s headquarters is located in Mumbai. Before Zepto, the duo started a company named Kiranakart which failed due to the lack of market fit.
Zepto is competing with other quick commerce companies. In 2021, they worked with 86 grocery stores and completed 1 million deliveries.
The company reached a valuation of 570 million dollars just five months after its launch, and by last year, it had a valuation of 900 million dollars.
The company delivers in multiple cities including Delhi, Chennai, Gurgaon, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. He has been featured on the Hurun List and the Forbes 30 Under 30 list.
