Divya Mittal, an IAS officer, hails from Rewari, Haryana. She was born and raised in Delhi. She pursued her engineering studies at the esteemed IIT Delhi and went on to complete her MBA from IIM Bangalore. Following her education, she tied the knot with Gagandeep Singh. The couple had lucrative salary packages in London, amounting to lakhs of rupees. However, they found themselves discontented with their life there and decided to return to India to serve their country.

Gagandeep Singh achieved the milestone of cracking the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) exam first. 2012 Divya Mittal accomplished her first success by clearing the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam. She subsequently became an IPS officer and was allocated to the Gujarat Cadre.

However, in 2013, while undergoing training for IPS, Divya Mittal accomplished another remarkable feat by cracking the UPSC exam once again. This time, she emerged victorious and earned the prestigious title of an IAS officer.

Divya Mittal has held several notable positions throughout her career. She served as the Vice Chairman of the Bareilly Development Authority and also as the Chief Development Officer (CDO) of Gonda. Additionally, she gained valuable experience as an Assistant Secretary with NITI Aayog, a prominent government institution.
