Meet Junaid Ahmad, an IAS officer hailing from Nagina, Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh, who cracked the UPSC exam in 2018. With an Electronics engineering degree from Sharda University, Noida, Junaid’s family includes his lawyer father, homemaker mother, an elder sister, and two younger siblings.
Junaid Ahmad, despite being an average student who consistently scored around 60% in school and college, serves as a shining example that hard work can enable anyone to crack the UPSC exam and become an IAS officer.
Despite facing three consecutive failures in the UPSC exams, Junaid Ahmad did not lose hope and persisted with his efforts. In his fourth attempt, he achieved success by clearing the exam with All India Rank (AIR) 352 and securing the IRS (Indian Revenue Service). However, Junaid’s determination to become an IAS officer led him to make a fifth attempt, which ultimately fulfilled his dream when he secured an impressive All India Rank 3.
