Every year, thousands of hopefuls in India sit for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam, aiming to become IFS, IPS, and IAS officers. Yet, passing this challenging test on the first attempt is rare. Muskan Jindal, a proud resident of Solan, Himachal Pradesh, not only cleared the UPSC exam on her first try but also secured an impressive All India Rank 87 in 2019.
Muskan’s academic journey has always been marked by excellence. From excelling in school to securing top grades in college, she demonstrated remarkable intelligence and dedication. Achieving a perfect 10 CGPA in her 10th grade and scoring a remarkable 96% in her 12th grade, Muskan’s academic prowess shone brightly.
Continuing her pursuit of knowledge, Muskan pursued a degree in B. Com (Hons) at SD College, Punjab University, where she distinguished herself by securing the fifth rank in her graduating class.
Muskan’s dedication to staying informed and prepared for the UPSC exam led her to immerse herself in newspaper reading, intensifying her focus on current affairs. She made conscious efforts to reduce her phone and social media usage, stressing the importance of self-discipline and concentration during preparation.
For Muskan, consistency is the cornerstone of success in cracking the UPSC exam. She emphasizes the necessity of maintaining high levels of motivation and adhering to a disciplined study routine. Through diligent practice and a balanced approach, Muskan believes aspiring candidates can increase their chances of passing the exam on their first attempt.
During her preparation phase, Muskan sought guidance from both online and offline sources while prioritizing self-study. Dedication to her studies was evident as she devoted at least 7 to 8 hours daily to her preparation regimen. Her advice to fellow aspirants underscores the importance of unwavering focus and sustained effort throughout the preparation process.
