On January 22, the ceremony to consecrate the Ram Mandir took place in Ayodhya. Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the grand event, marking a significant step in building the Ram Temple at the Ram Jamahoomi site. People from all over India, including businessmen and film stars, have donated money for the temple’s construction.
Among the cine celebrities, south superstar Pawan Kalyan stands out as the biggest donor, contributing Rs 30 lakh towards the construction. Notable figures like Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, and Hema Malini have also made generous donations.
Anupam Kher, for instance, donated bricks used in the temple’s construction. Other stars, such as actress Pranitha Subhash and Mahabharat’s Bheeshma, Mukesh Khanna, have also made significant contributions. Pranitha pledged Rs 1 lakh, while Mukesh Khanna gave a cheque of Rs 1,11,111 for the temple’s fundraising.
The consecration ceremony in Ayodhya was attended by political leaders, religious figures, and stars from the film and sports industry. A-listers like Amitabh Bachchan, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah, Vipul Shah, Madhuri Dixit, Rishab Shetty, Kangana Ranaut, and many others were present at the event.
