To be successful in life, it’s essential to keep trying and stay patient, even when things take a long time to work out. Let me tell you about the inspiring journey of IFS Pujya Priyadarshini.

She grew up in a middle-class family in Delhi. After finishing her B.Com, she went to the University of Columbia in New York for her post-graduation in Public Administration. She got job offers from many companies and worked in a good company for two years.

But she wasn’t happy with her job. She wanted to do something that would benefit her, her family, and the whole country. That’s when she decided to become an IAS officer. Her first try in 2013 didn’t work out. So, she took three years to prepare better. In 2016, she got to the interview stage but didn’t succeed. Despite this setback, she didn’t give up. She tried again in 2017, but narrowly missed success. She felt like quitting after that.

But with her family’s support, she found the strength to keep going. Finally, in 2018, she cracked the UPSC exam and became an IFS officer, ranking 11th in India. Now, she’s working as a diplomat in France.
