Rebekah Sood, a business consultant focusing on healthy food, also spent her early years in Mussoorie before completing her university education in the US. Their father, a professor at IIT-Kanpur and IIT-Kharagpur, had brought them to India when Rebekah was just one-and-a-half years old. In contrast, Ariella was born in India. Following their schooling, both sisters relocated to the US for college, where they pursued degrees in computer science.
After spending three years working in China, Rebekah returned to India in 2015 and joined the founding team of FabIndia’s ‘Fab Cafe’. In 2018, she and her sister successfully launched Atmosphere Kombucha, establishing themselves as a healthy option in the F&B industry. With an initial investment of Rs 25 lakh from their savings and some support from their parents, the sisters now achieve a monthly turnover of approximately Rs 20 lakh, as reported by HerStory.
