Let’s talk about Rebekah Sood and Ariella Blank, the founders of Atmosphere Kombucha. They established their brand in Delhi in 2018. These remarkable entrepreneurs also appeared as contestants on Shark Tank India season 2, although they were unable to secure funding from the Sharks.

Based in Delhi, their brand, Atmosphere Kombucha, provides a range of probiotic-rich products like kombucha, kefir, and raw vegan cheesecakes. Inspired by Rebekah’s trip to Bali, a bottle of their kombucha is priced at Rs 220. Let’s delve into the story of Rebekah Sood and Ariella Blank and their connection to India.

Rebekah Sood, a business consultant focusing on healthy food, also spent her early years in Mussoorie before completing her university education in the US. Their father, a professor at IIT-Kanpur and IIT-Kharagpur, had brought them to India when Rebekah was just one-and-a-half years old. In contrast, Ariella was born in India. Following their schooling, both sisters relocated to the US for college, where they pursued degrees in computer science.

After spending three years working in China, Rebekah returned to India in 2015 and joined the founding team of FabIndia’s ‘Fab Cafe’. In 2018, she and her sister successfully launched Atmosphere Kombucha, establishing themselves as a healthy option in the F&B industry. With an initial investment of Rs 25 lakh from their savings and some support from their parents, the sisters now achieve a monthly turnover of approximately Rs 20 lakh, as reported by HerStory.
