Sini Shetty, a 21-year-old participant hailing from Karnataka and born in Mumbai, has been chosen to represent India at the Miss World 2023 pageant.
India is getting ready to host the Miss World pageant in 2023, marking the return of this renowned international beauty competition to the country after a span of 27 years. While the specific dates have not been announced yet, the 71st edition of the Miss World pageant is planned to be held in November.
Sini Shetty, who emerged as the victor of the Femina Miss India 2022 competition, has been selected to represent India at the Miss World 2023 pageant. The current Miss World titleholder is Karolina Bielawska from Poland, who was crowned in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Karolina will pass on her esteemed title to the winner of this year’s Miss World competition.
Who is Sini Shetty?
Sini Shetty, a 21-year-old participant from Karnataka and born in Mumbai, achieved the Miss Talent award in the sub-competitions of Miss India 2022. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance and aims to become a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Sini Shetty is also a skilled Bharatanatyam dancer, having started dancing at the age of four. At the age of 14, she successfully completed her first theatrical performance, commonly known as the arangetram.
