Viraj Sheth has been honored with multiple awards for his notable contributions to the sector, and he has been recognized as one of Forbes’ 30 under 30 Asia.
Viraj Sheth, a co-founder, and partner of Monk Entertainment, embarked on his entrepreneurial journey shortly after completing college alongside Ranveer Allahbadia, widely recognized online as BeerBiceps.
Viraj Sheth believes that individuals in business should align themselves with individuals with whom they have a personal or social connection. In recognition of his accomplishments, he was awarded the title of Bootstrapped Business of the Year 2020 by Entrepreneur India.
Viraj Sheth hails from a Gujarati family and was born and raised in Mumbai. In 2013, he obtained diplomas from Mithibai College of Arts, Chauhan Institute of Science, and A.J. College of Commerce and Economics. Subsequently, he pursued Electronics Engineering at Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering, where he crossed paths with Ranveer Allahbadia, who was his senior at the time.
Viraj Sheth, in collaboration with Ranveer Allahbadia, co-founded Monk Entertainment, a highly acclaimed media company. The organization specializes in managing the social media profiles of several renowned influencers, including Flying Beast, Ranveer Allahbadia, Be YouNick and others. They have also engaged in partnerships with notable figures and entities such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Priyanka Chopra, the Mumbai Indians, the NBA India, Alia Bhatt, Flipkart, and more. Viraj’s exceptional contributions in the sector have earned him multiple awards, including the prestigious recognition of being named one of Forbes’ 30 under 30 Asia.
Viraj has always embraced the philosophy that “real learning happens outside the classroom.” Even during college, he pursued internships in content creation, copywriting, and digital marketing. During the early stages of Ranveer Allahbadia’s YouTube channel, BeerBiceps, Viraj swiftly took on the responsibility of managing the business and campaigns. Remarkably, he accomplished this feat while in his final semester of college.
Shortly after graduating, Viraj recognized the promising potential of India’s digital creator ecosystem. In January 2018, he teamed up with Ranveer Allahbadia to co-found Monk Entertainment. Since its inception, Viraj has been regarded as a dynamic leader within Monk-E, adeptly spearheading the innovative development of the digital content sector. Despite its modest beginnings in a garage with only three employees, the company has flourished under his guidance, expanding to over 50 employees at a remarkably young age.
