Mi-Jung Lee Career

Mi-Jung Lee began her on-air news career at CHEK-TV in Victoria in 1990, working as a reporter and part-time anchor.
She later moved to Vancouver and worked at CHAN-TV (BCTV) as a reporter and anchor.
In 1998, she joined CIVT-TV, which was known at the time as VTV. Along with news anchor Paul Mennier, she co-anchored the 6 p.m. newscast.
After CIVT became a CTV station in 2001, she became the anchor and producer of CTV News at 11:30 in Vancouver. She held that role for years.
In early 2008, she also co-hosted Canada AM: Western edition, with weather anchor Rena Heer and news anchor Omar Sachedina. She was part of the Western anchor team for that show.
She returned to the weekday 6 p.m. newscast in August 2018 with co-anchor Scott Roberts, and then she became the weekday co-anchor team for CTV News at Six.
Later, in 2022, CTV Vancouver announced another change, with weather specialist Ann Luu, and Lee was named as the lead anchor for CTV News at Six in the updated lineup.
