Rishim Sachdeva, then the executive chef at Olive Bar and Kitchen in Mumbai, received an unexpected call from superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The actor, determined to learn cooking as a new year’s resolution, sought Sachdeva’s expertise, recognizing him as his preferred culinary mentor.

In 2021, renowned chef Rishim Sachdeva gained attention when celebrity couple Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli chose his London restaurant, Tendril, for a memorable meal during their visit to the UK with their daughter Vamika.

After being delighted by their dining experience, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli praised it as their “best vegan meal.” This led to more cricketers like Ravichandran Ashwin visiting the restaurant. Anushka and Virat returned for another dinner at Sachdeva’s establishment.
