Pant recently talked about how scary the accident was. It happened on the Delhi-Dehradun highway, and he felt like he might die for the first time in his life. He knew he was hurt badly, but he also felt lucky because things could’ve been worse. He felt like someone saved him.
The doctor told Pant it would take 16-18 months to get better, but he was determined to get back sooner. He knew he had to work hard to speed up his recovery.
Former Indian cricketer Zaheer Khan said that even if Pant does well in the IPL, he might not get picked for the T20 World Cup in 2024. Pant has faced a lot of challenges, and coming back to cricket won’t be easy.
Even though everyone will be happy to see him play again, it might take him some time to get back into the rhythm of the game. So, even if he does great in the IPL, it might not be enough for him to make it to the World Cup team.
