Early Career
Anne-Marie Green shifted to Ontario to start her journalism career with CKVR-TV channel in Barrie, as a news reporter for a year. Then she joined Rogers Cable News in Mississauga, Ontario.
Anne-Marie moved back to her birthplace Toronto, where she joined the CITY-TV channel and began anchoring a show at Cable Pulse 24 a 24-hour cable news service. Later, in October 2004 Green was appointed as a general assignment reporter at the KYW-TV Channel.
Current Career
Green’s journey with CBS News began with anchoring the Sunday Morning newscasts together with Ben Simoneau. In October 2012 Anne-Marie Green joined the CBS Overnight News, where she became a substitute anchor for “CBS News Up to the Minute” night show.
Next year in 2013 Anne-Marie was hired as a lead anchor of CBS Morning News in New York. Here as a lead anchor, she hosted a thirty-minute program airing only on weekdays at 4 am before the local news began at 4.30 am.
