Ajith Kumar Subramaniam Career

After dropping out of school, he worked a variety of jobs, first as an apprentice mechanic at an Enfield company.
Then, at a family friend’s garment export firm, he eventually rose to become a business developer.
He also briefly co-ran a textiles business before pivoting to modelling.
It was his modelling work that eventually caught the attention of cinematographer P. C. Sreeram, who encouraged him to pursue acting.
With minimal formal training, Ajith entered Tamil cinema in the early 1990s and went on to become one of its biggest superstars.
