Rajpal Yadav was born in Kunjod village, Shahjahanpur district, Uttar Pradesh, India. He came from a modest, rural farming background. His family was not connected to the film industry, and pursuing acting was an unconventional path for someone from his background.

From a young age, he showed interest in theatre and performance arts, which was somewhat unusual given the traditional, agrarian environment of his upbringing.

Childhood

Even as a child, he displayed a natural curiosity for mimicry, storytelling, and dramatics, often entertaining people around him. This early spark for performance stood out sharply against the backdrop of his surroundings, where formal exposure to theatre or films was rare.

Despite facing childhood bullying and struggles due to his height, he found his strength through the unwavering support of his mother, who encouraged him to embrace his individuality and rise above negativity.

Rajpal Yadav completed his foundational schooling at Ordnance Clothing Factory School in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
